Inner Child Healing Sound Bath

**Disclaimer** If you are not emotionally ready to address childhood trauma: PLEASE DON'T. I'm not a licensed therapist, I'm simply sharing what has helped me through my healing journey.

This sound bath was inspired by a childhood trauma that happened when I was 15 years old. This was a life-defining event in my life and I feel like I am still working on healing this. The intention for this sound bath is to help heal that inner child that needed understanding and not judgement. I hope this sound bath can help you if at any time you also felt judged but instead needed to feel accepted and loved. NOTE: you can use this sound bath for any inner child work you need.

Singing bowls (tuned to 432hz) used:

• Sacral - D note, (direct link to inner child).

• Heart - F note (power of love, emotion, healing).

• 528hz Solfeggio tone - High C note, miracle tone.

SUGESSTION:

Before:

I suggest writing a letter (or a voice recording) first, to let those emotions/thoughts out.

Set an intention (ex: I want to release resentment, anger, hate, etc., I want to gain self-acceptance, confidence, etc.).

Get comfortable (preferably in private) lay on your bed, mat, on the grass, however you need to. 

Take some deep cleansing breaths (box breathing is a great option). 

Listen to the sound bath. (*If you use headphones keep the volume low, the singing bowls can get very loud and you can hurt your ears!)

Keep taking cleansing breaths throughout. 

You can also recite The Ho'Oponopono:

     I'm sorry.

     Please forgive me.

     I love you. 

     Thank you.

Recite as many times as you need to. 

​

After: 

Hold yourself, give yourself a hug, nurture yourself, caress your face, TELL YOURSELF "I LOVE YOU" and give yourself all that you needed as a child. This is long-term commitment; always give yourself that nurture, love and grace!
