and my healing journey began in 2016 after I lost my job due to a delay in the issuance of my work permit. This event pushed me into a spiral of debilitating depression, and obsessive thoughts. Once I surpassed this mental health crisis, I directed my attention to my emotional wellbeing. Eventually I realized that I was carrying a lot unprocessed repressed trauma that was causing disharmony in my body and mind. I began to nurture myself and little by little, the healing began!
